Housing News....

When we moved to Vandenberg two years ago the housing office told us that there would be a chance that we would have to move to another home on base because of the renovations the base was going through. Well, the time has come and we will be moving into our new home at the end of this month. We were all just starting to get wander lust so the timing is perfect. You know us military families can't stay in one place for to long.



P is leaving tomorrow for a three week TDY to Colorado. He is looking forward to catching up with friends while there. His timing seems almost perfect. He returns after the packers have started to pack us up. Lucky man! As most AF wives know with our husbands schedules they are rarely around when our homes are getting packed up at one location and unloaded in another so this isn't a big deal at all I just like teasing him about it. Unfortunately for P when he returns this time he won't just be doing his usual "cleaning" or as I like to call it taking all his dirty clothes out of his suitcases and putting them into the hamper for me to wash but will be thrust right into the middle of a move. It should be easy though and hopefully we'll be settled in in no time.

Spring Break ...

Spring Break is coming to a close. It went by to fast! We had a great Easter with friends than headed out to Vegas for Spring Break. We had a wonderful time with everyone and are all very tired from our trip. We are now gearing up for P's TDY to Space 300 and K's trip to outdoor school. Lots of unpacking/packing going on here. Funny, I can't seem to locate one other family member to help me with this. We should also be hearing soon from housing regarding our move to one of the new houses here on base. We are hoping that this will take place closer to the end of May. We'd hate to be moving while P is TDY but we'll do what we have to do. Enjoy the pictures!

I'm Back...

I have taken a LONG leave of absence from blogging. We have been a very busy family. Both girls have been heavily involved in sports , Phil started a new job, and I'm as busy as ever. Phil just returned from a TDY to Alaska. He'll be heading out on a nother one soon. We have spring break coming up next week and are heading to Vegas with a group of friends. Should be another great time. I will be back to posting on a more regular basis I promise.
