We hope everyone had a great 4th. We received our fence yesterday from Home Depot and got to work on putting some of the sections up. P was able to get a few sections up before heading down to a neighborhood BBQ. The BBQ was a lot of fun and we were able to meet the people from our street. Most of them are also new or have been here under a year. The games were fun and K won a round of the cupcake eating contest. We are going to start up a Bunko group in the fall. Hopefully I won't have forgotten how to play. One of our neighbors is a "weather man" who gave us some great insight on the weather here and why we had no June Gloom this year. It's been a good two weeks without a Marine layer. We headed out to see fireworks but left late so we were only able to see a few from the car. All in all it was a good 4th. We will be working away on the fence the rest of the week/weekend and hopefully be able to enjoy P's leave next week. Not spend all of it doing the fence.
